Cairo Tower

Although located in Cairo, not far from Giza, the Cairo Tower offers some of the best views of the Giza Pyramids and the surrounding area. The tower is a modern landmark in a city known for its ancient history.

Height and Structure: Standing at 187 meters tall, the Cairo Tower was completed in 1961 and was the tallest structure in Africa at the time. The tower is made of concrete and designed in a lattice structure resembling a lotus flower, which is a symbolic representation of Egyptian heritage.

Observation Deck: Visitors to the tower can take an elevator to the observation deck at the top, where they can enjoy panoramic views of Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza in the distance. The view is particularly stunning at sunset, when the entire city is bathed in golden light.

Revolving Restaurant: The tower also features a revolving restaurant, which slowly rotates to provide diners with a 360-degree view of the city while enjoying Egyptian cuisine. It is an excellent way to experience the city from above while enjoying a meal.
